Outstanding Customer Service
Sometimes a company just does the right thing. What makes it even better is when they do the right thing without being asked to do it. Today I came home to an unexpected package from ConnectingThreads.com.
It all started a few weeks ago when I received some fabric from my Mother-in-law. She knows I love the color blue and she found some beautiful blue fabric that she knew I would love. As soon as she gave me the fabric, I started designing a quilt that would use this fabric. I realized I needed more of the fabric for the jelly roll friendly quilt pattern I designed (watch for an upcoming post for the quilt and pattern) and so I ordered more fabric from ConnectingThreads.com.
I have been busy working on other quilts and have not had a chance to go through the fabric that I ordered. I tucked the fabric into my stash so that it would be ready once I freed up my quilting schedule. As I mentioned, today I received a package from ConnectingThreads.com, a package that I was not expecting. It was a very simple package with a letter and three strips of fabric.
The letter apologized but that they believe that the Symphony in Blue – Jelly Rolls that I had purchased from them may have only contained 19 of the 20 strips of fabric. They had included the missing strip of fabric for each jelly roll I had purchased and provided me with a direct phone number to their Director of Customer Service incase I had any further questions or issues with my order.
My fabric order was now complete and I did not have to do anything on my end. I didn’t pull out these fabrics and realize at the last moment that the line was incomplete and then have to try to track down someone to fix the error. I know it can be intimidating to buy fabric online, but after my experience with the Customer Service from ConnectingThreads.com, I would highly recommend purchasing from them to anyone.
