Squishy Star Quilt Pattern
I am so excited to release the Squishy Star Quilt Pattern that has been in my studio for over a year now. I have actually had the majority of pattern done since last fall, and you have probably seen pictures of the quilt on my Instagram feed if you follow me. I have actually created three different quilts in this pattern. I created the Throw size, which is on the cover of the pattern and then I decided I wanted to create a Twin size in something other than white as the background fabric and finally I decided to bust out a Mini-Quilt for a Quilt Swap on Instagram. All I need to do to finish the Squishy Star Quilt Pattern was take a picture for the cover of the pattern.
I think the hardest part was taking the cover picture. Since the lighting has to be just right, that means getting up early on a weekend and finding a ‘cool’ location to conduct a photo shoot. I actually spent a couple Saturday mornings taking pictures but each time, after getting home and downloading the pictures, I didn’t think any of the images really showed off the quilt pattern the way I envisioned it. I finally took a picture that I thought would work for the cover and so finally I get to release the pattern.
This pattern has four different sizes: Baby, Throw, Twin and Queen. It is a very quick quilt pattern if you want to make an amazing quilt but don’t have a lot of time to sew before your deadline. I know that never happens though and that you always plan out your quilts months in advance and have plenty of time to piece them together before you must have it wrapped for someone’s housewarming, birthday or just to say thanks.
